Acceptable Use Policy
The simple version
Onyou styles you, from your own photo. Use your own face, keep it clean, don't try to break the safety limits, and don't use it to impersonate or mislead anyone. That's it.
1. Who can use Onyou
Onyou is for adults 18 and over. You confirm you're 18+ before you upload.
2. Use your own face — not anyone else's
This is the core rule.
- You may only upload a photo of yourself.
- You must not upload a photo of any other person — including friends, family, strangers, or public figures and celebrities — or any image you don't have the right to use.
- When you upload, you're confirming the photo is of you. If it isn't, you're breaking these rules.
Why: Onyou creates styled images of the person in the photo. Using someone else's face without their consent isn't something we allow or build for.
3. What you must not do
Don't use Onyou to:
- Impersonate or mislead — create images meant to look like a real photo of someone, or to suggest a person did or wore something they didn't.
- Produce or attempt to produce sexual, nude, violent, hateful, or abusive content, or to get around our safety screening.
- Upload other people's images, or images you don't have the rights to.
- Break the law, harass anyone, or infringe someone's rights.
- Scrape, automate, resell, or bulk-abuse the service.
4. About the images Onyou creates
- Every look is an AI-generated mock-up and a styling opinion — not a real photograph and not a guarantee of a result.
- Looks include subtle, natural makeup styled to your coloring — your own features, unchanged. We don't reshape faces or apply beautifying filters.
- If you share your looks, don't present them as real photos, and don't present them as being of anyone other than yourself.
- We label our generated images as AI-generated; please keep that labeling if you share them.
5. How we keep this safe
- We screen uploads and generated images for harmful content and block anything that trips our safety limits.
- We're built to style you — we don't offer, and won't build, features for creating images of other people or celebrities.
- We don't identify you or match your face against any database.
6. If these rules are broken
We may refuse a request, remove content, and suspend or close accounts that break this policy. We can also report unlawful activity where we're required to.
7. Report a problem
See something wrong, or think someone's misusing Onyou? Email support@onyou.beauty (or privacy@onyou.beauty for anything about personal data). We'll look into it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; we'll post the new version here with a fresh date.
