Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ⟦LEGAL ENTITY⟧, a company registered in England & Wales (company number ⟦COMPANY NO.⟧), registered address ⟦REGISTERED ADDRESS⟧ ("Onyou", "we", "us", "our"). They govern your use of the Onyou website, app, and services (together, the "Service").

2. Accepting these terms

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Notice, and our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You also agree to specific terms presented to you in the app — such as confirming your age, and giving explicit consent before any AI images of you are generated.

3. Eligibility — 18+ only

The Service creates AI-generated images of human faces. It is for adults only.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You will be asked to confirm that you are 18 or over before you can use the Service. By continuing, you attest that this is true.
• If you are under 18, you may not use the Service.

4. What the Service does

Onyou turns one selfie into a personalized editorial color & style analysis, plus AI-generated images of your own face — for example your best draped colors, hairstyles, makeup, outfits, jewelry, and a "best look".

How it works:

• You get one free reveal — your color season plus one styled look — before any payment. The free look includes subtle, natural makeup styled to your coloring; your own features are unchanged.
• To see your full report and further looks, you make a one-time purchase to unlock them.

The color & style analysis is an editorial styling opinion, and the images are AI-generated mock-ups. See sections 9 and 10.

5. Accounts and security

• You do not need an account to take the free reveal — no sign-up, no card.
• An account is created when you make a purchase, so you can return to your report and any looks you have chosen to save.
• You can sign in with a passkey, or with a password and a second factor (an authenticator app). You can also reopen your written report using a one-time link sent to your purchase email; that link is single-use and expires after 15 minutes.
• Because your account can hold your saved looks and report, two-step sign-in is required for an account that stores content. Keep your sign-in factors and your email secure — anyone with access to them may be able to reach your account.
• You are responsible for the activity that takes place through your account.

6. Pricing and payment

• $9.99 — one-time full unlock of your 2026 Edit. Yours to keep. Sales tax, where it applies, is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
• No subscription. One payment. There is no free trial, and nothing renews automatically.

Payments are handled by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, which is the seller of record for your purchase. Lemon Squeezy calculates, collects, and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT, which is added to the $9.99 price at checkout and shown to you before you confirm. For your payment and tax records, Lemon Squeezy acts as a separate, independent data controller under its own terms and privacy policy. Receipts are sent to your email.

Immediate delivery. Your purchase is digital content that is delivered immediately. At checkout you confirm that you want delivery to begin straight away and that you understand you will lose your 14-day right to cancel once delivery has begun. See our Refund Policy.

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these Terms.

7. Your report and looks — your licence, and how long we keep them

When you unlock your Edit, we grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to view, download, keep, and share your own report and looks for your personal use.

Two things you should know about how this works in practice:

• We create your looks once, and we do not recreate them. Your looks are yours to download. We keep a copy for 90 days, then delete it — so save the ones you love before then. Your written report re-opens from your account for as long as you keep it.
• We never keep your selfie (see section 14 and the Privacy Notice).

AI-generated images are clearly labeled as AI-generated mock-ups. If you share them, please keep them recognizable as AI-generated mock-ups and do not present them as genuine photographs.

8. Acceptable use

Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms. In summary, you agree that:

• You will only upload a photo of yourself. You must not upload a photo of any other person — including friends, family, strangers, or public figures and celebrities — or any image you do not have the right to use. When you upload, you are confirming the photo is of you.
• You will not upload images of, or attempt to create images of, anyone under 18.
• You will not use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, harassing, deceptive, or abusive, and you will not use it to impersonate or misrepresent another person.
• You will not attempt to produce sexual, nude, violent, hateful, or abusive content, or to bypass our safety screening.
• You will not attempt to bypass, overload, or interfere with the Service, its metering, or its security (including bot-protection and anti-abuse measures), and you will not use automated means to access it except as we expressly allow.
• You will not resell or commercially exploit the Service or its outputs.

You are responsible for the photo you upload and for the confirmation you give that it is of you.

9. Not professional advice — an opinion framework, not science

Onyou is a styling-opinion framework, provided for entertainment and styling guidance only.

• Seasonal color analysis is an opinion framework, not science. Different stylists and systems may reach different conclusions.
• The Service is not professional, medical, dermatological, or financial advice, and should not be relied on as such.
• Use your own judgment and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional before making decisions.

10. AI-generated content

The images Onyou produces are AI-generated mock-ups created by automated systems, and they are labeled as such. They are stylized interpretations, not real photographs.

• AI outputs can be inaccurate, unexpected, or not true to life, and results vary.
• An image is a creative mock-up of a possible look — not a promise of how something will actually look on you in real life.
• We style what you're wearing, not who you are: we do not reshape your features or apply beautifying filters.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and its outputs are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result, analysis, or image will meet your expectations.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
• Where we are found liable, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so — for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Service if you break these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, misuse the Service, or where we reasonably need to in order to protect users, the Service, or our providers, or to comply with the law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your saved looks, your report, or your whole account as described in our Privacy Notice. Deleting saved looks is permanent — we cannot remake them, so download anything you want to keep first. Some terms — such as those on intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — continue to apply after you stop using the Service.

14. Intellectual property

The Service — including the Onyou name, brand, software, design, and the underlying analysis framework — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the personal-use licence in section 7, these Terms do not give you any rights in the Service.

You keep all rights in the photo you upload. To provide the Service, you grant us and our providers a limited licence to process your photo and inputs solely to generate your analysis and looks, as described in our Privacy Notice. We never keep your selfie: on the free reveal it is never written to our servers, and when you purchase it is held in encrypted storage only for the few minutes needed to create your looks (up to 15 minutes), then deleted automatically. We never use your photo to train AI models.

15. Changes to the Service and these terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time — for example, to reflect new features, legal requirements, or improvements. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, such as updating the date above or notifying you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes to how we use your facial data may require fresh consent.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales will have jurisdiction — except where the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring a claim there, and to the protection of those laws.
